Driving Equality in Phoenix

"A 100-day, 16,000-mile, 48-state trek across America to collect stories from LGBTQ people."

Driving Equality will make two stops in Arizona. After a visit to the first Territorial Capital in Prescott, they will visit the current state capital, Phoenix. During the 100-day trip, Chris Mason will be meeting with LGBTQ community organizers, activists, and any citizens willing to talk. Through these interviews, he will gain an understanding of the current political climates, and explore ways of combating discrimination.

HRC Arizona is proud to host this event along with Marriage Equality USA and One Voice LGBT Community Center. We thank Community Church of Hope for welcoming us into their facility.
